Known facts, not guesses.

Blood of Thieves collects the two novels that started it all for Royce and Hadrian's partnership - The Crown Tower and The Rose and the Thorn - in the only omnibus edition these titles have ever seen. The Science Fiction Book Club hardcover omnibus is an exclusive that was never released anywhere else in hardcover or paperback, making it a genuine rarity for collectors; Just check other vendors. Sullivan built the Riyria Chronicles on the strength of these two characters, and watching their reluctant first partnership take shape across these pages is exactly as good as the series' devoted fanbase suggests it is. Ældern Notes: Riyria doesn't get the recognition it deserves outside its core readership, and that's a shame - Sullivan writes character-driven fantasy with a warmth and precision that's harder to pull off than it looks. This SFBC hardcover omnibus is the only release this title ever got. If you've been on the fence about starting the series, this edition is rare, collectible, and a great place to begin.
