About Ældern Tomes
Built by collectors, for collectors.
Why Ældern Tomes
We started Ældern Tomes because collectors deserve better than stock photos, vague condition grades, and listings that leave the edition to chance. We built the kind of bookshop we want to buy from: exact copies, useful details, and no guessing games.
The Book You See Is the Book You Get
Every book we sell is the exact one shown in the photos—documented in detail, including the dust jacket, boards, copyright page, and notable flaws. No mystery warehouse bins. No stock images. If we would not buy it from the listing, it does not go up.
What We Specialize In
We specialize in first editions and collectible fantasy, science fiction, and Star Wars Expanded Universe hardcovers—with an eye for signed copies, first printings, out-of-print books, and editions that matter to collectors.
How We Ship & Communicate
We offer one-day handling, careful packing, and straightforward communication. Collectors deserve to know exactly what they are buying, and we make sure they do.
